BUSINESS TOOLS, CONNECTED

Know the client. Find the next detail.

When you run a service business, a client is more than a name in an address book. DetailSprout connects their contact details with the appointments, estimates and invoices you need to keep work moving.

Keep useful client information in one place

Save a client's name, email, phone, address and working notes. Use notes for practical context, such as a preferred contact time, access instructions or details to confirm before the next visit.

Search your client list when a repeat customer calls. Update the record once, then select that client when you create an appointment or document.

Connect the conversation to the work

Assign appointments, estimates and invoices to a client rather than building a separate list for every task. Keep the service, scheduled time and document details in the same workspace.

This fits work that starts with a conversation and becomes a project: a designer preparing a scope, a consultant booking a session or a home service business arranging a visit.

Follow up with a message you have reviewed

The Reminders page brings together invoices, estimates and client check-ins. Choose the record, review the recipient and edit the message before you confirm a send.

Messages are sent through DetailSprout's configured email service, with replies directed to your account email. Connecting a personal Gmail or Outlook mailbox is not part of this workflow. A submitted message is recorded as accepted for delivery; the customer's inbox is a separate step.

Bring your client list with you

Use the client import tool to review a CSV before adding records. Start with a small, clean list and resolve duplicates so you do not create two records for the same customer.

Workspace export gives you a downloadable copy of your business data. Keep a regular copy alongside your own business records.

A repeat customer's next project

  1. Find the existing client and confirm their current email and phone number.
  2. Add a note about the new request, then prepare an estimate with the relevant saved services.
  3. Create the appointment when the work and time are agreed.
  4. Issue the invoice and review a reminder if payment still needs attention.

A few useful answers

Is DetailSprout only for detailing businesses?

No. The workspace supports independent service businesses, including design, consulting, cleaning, repairs and other project or appointment work. You choose your business type during setup.

Can I add existing clients?

Yes. You can add clients individually or use the client CSV import tool. Review the preview and check for duplicates before importing your full list.

Will the app contact clients on its own?

No. Current reminder sends require you to review the recipient and message, then confirm. Accepting a booking request also requires you to contact the customer to confirm the arrangement.
